</div><div>Position Summary<br>
</div><div>ODUrent is seeking an <b>Purchasing Manager</b> to oversee the purchasing, organization, and control of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies. This role is critical to keeping our maintenance operations running efficiently, especially during high-volume periods such as unit turns. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in property maintenance materials and systems.<br>
</div><div>Key Responsibilities<br>
</div><div><b>Inventory Management</b><br>
</div>Maintain and update the inventory tracking spreadsheet with accurate, real-time data<br>

</li>Monitor stock levels and reorder items marked for replenishment<br>
<li>
</li>Procure specialty parts and increased inventory for peak demand periods (e.g., turns)<br>
<li>
</li></ul><div><b>Purchasing &amp; Cost Control</b><br>
</div>Research vendors and pricing to secure cost-effective purchasing solutions<br>

</li>Track usage trends and anticipate future inventory needs<br>
<li>
</li></ul><div><b>Shop Organization &amp; Logistics</b><br>
</div>Maintain a clean, organized shop environment with clearly designated areas for:<br>
Deliveries<br>

</li>Special-order parts<br>
<li>
</li>Tool check-in/check-out<br>
<li>
</li>Part returns<br>
<li>
</li>Turn materials<br>
<li>
</li>Work-order supplies<br>

</div>Manage daily check-in and check-out of tools and materials<br>

</li>Ensure accountability and availability of all equipment<br>

</li></ul><div><b>Parts Pickup &amp; Delivery</b><br>
</div>Occasionally pick up parts as needed<br>

</li>Parts may be collected before or after work hours and delivered the following morning<br>

</div>Strong working knowledge of maintenance parts and tools, including:<br>

</li>Maintenance parts and tools experience required<br>

</li><li>Purchasing experience: <b>4 years preferred</b><br>
</li><li>Property maintenance experience: <b>4 years preferred</b><br>
