Essential Functions: 
<ul>
<li>Operates a forklift to load and unload materials. 
</li>
<li>Completes all required documentation on inbound and outbound documents.</li>
<li>Manages dock door usage.</li>
<li>Handles all products according to customer and employer procedures.</li>
<li>Communicates changes in extraordinary handling procedures to office personnel. Complete warehouse worksheet.</li>
<li>Complies with all other procedures outlined in the Operations &amp; Procedure Manual.</li>
<li>Works with inbound operations to determine priority of inbound Receipts based on order demand, trailer needs and detention.</li>
<li>Seals outbound trailers.</li>
<li>Assigns inbound/outbound workloads for all shifts.</li>
<li>Performs problem-solving analysis on supply chain and inventory issues</li>
<li>Communicates effectively with Transportation, OFR, Management, Co-workers, and Customers.</li>
<li>Presents verbal and written communications in a clear, concise manner.</li>
<li>Researches and resolves discrepancies (w/ inventories, orders, inbounds). Verify and reconcile inventory.</li>
<li>Monitors shipment times to deliver within specified time frame.</li>
<li>Manages spreadsheets and reports that are sent to management and clients on a daily/weekly basis.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Skills and Background</li>
<li>HS diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Warehouse Management System experience preferred.</li>
<li>1 - year min. of Forklift experience</li>
<li>1 - year min. of Shipping and Receiving Experience.</li>
<li>Computer, data entry and internet experience (Microsoft Office Applications, AS400)</li>
<li>Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.</li>
</ul>
Language Requirements
<ul>
<li>Ability to hear, read and comprehend, write, and communicate.</li>
</ul>
Physical and Mental Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is:
<ul>
<li>Occasionally required to sit, type, and perform repetitive wrist motion</li>
<li>Occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds</li>
<li>Continuously required to stand, walk, bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb or reach on even and uneven surfaces</li>
<li>Continuously required to lift up to 50 pounds</li>
</ul>
Specific vision capabilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus (with or without corrective lenses).
