Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team in Rialto Ca. Our office has proudly served the community for over 30+ years and we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional dental experience that exceeds patient expectations.We are a team that values long-term relationships- with both our patients and each other- and we are looking for someone who shares that same passion.Starting Pay: $21/ hourSchedule: Full time, Monday -Friday ( with 2 Fridays per month)Monday 9-6| Tuesday 8-5| Wednesday 9-6| Thursday 10-7| Fridays (2/ month) 8-2Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for procedures.</li><li>Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners while adhering to strict infection control protocols.</li><li>Manage patient records accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems like Practice Web, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Monitor vital signs and medical documentation when necessary to support comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency during treatments.</li><li>Maintain a sterile environment following aseptic techniques and infection control standards to prevent cross-contamination.</li><li>Support the dental reception area by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and assisting with patient inquiries.</li><li>Ensure proper use of dental terminology and medical coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.</li><li>Assist in maintaining inventory of dental supplies and equipment necessary for general dentistry procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience working in a dental clinic ( 1+ year required)</li><li>Bilingual Spanish/English ( required)</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.</li><li>Competence in taking dental X-rays and operating medical imaging devices including 3D scanners.</li><li>Understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.</li><li>Ability to perform chairside assisting with proficiency in four-handed dentistry methods.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and documentation.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.</li><li>Certification in CPR is a plus but not mandatory.
