Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team in Rialto Ca. Our office has proudly served the community for over 30+ years and we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional dental experience that exceeds patient expectations.

Starting Pay: $21/ hour
Schedule: Full time, Monday -Friday ( with 2 Fridays per month)
Monday 9-6| Tuesday 8-5| Wednesday 9-6| Thursday 10-7| Fridays (2/ month) 8-2
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners while adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Manage patient records accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems like Practice Web, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor vital signs and medical documentation when necessary to support comprehensive patient care.
- Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency during treatments.
- Maintain a sterile environment following aseptic techniques and infection control standards to prevent cross-contamination.
- Support the dental reception area by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and assisting with patient inquiries.
- Ensure proper use of dental terminology and medical coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of dental supplies and equipment necessary for general dentistry procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic ( 1+ year required)
- Bilingual Spanish/English ( required)
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Competence in taking dental X-rays and operating medical imaging devices including 3D scanners.
- Understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
- Ability to perform chairside assisting with proficiency in four-handed dentistry methods.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
