Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Dentist to join our dental team. As the Lead Dentist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care, leading clinical operations, and mentoring team members to uphold the highest standards of dentistry. Your expertise will ensure a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for, while also fostering a collaborative team atmosphere focused on continuous improvement and clinical excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication procedures.</li><li>Lead clinical operations by coordinating patient schedules, managing treatment plans, and ensuring adherence to infection control techniques.</li><li>Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, and other complex treatments with precision and care.</li><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments using medical and dental terminology to develop personalized treatment plans that meet individual needs.</li><li>Supervise and mentor dental staff in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical records, medical documentation, and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Ensure all clinical activities comply with infection control protocols, medical imaging standards, and anatomy knowledge requirements.</li><li>Stay current with advancements in dental technology and best practices related to Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other practice management systems.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid license to practice dentistry in the relevant jurisdiction with current credentials.</li><li>Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication.</li><li>Proficiency with dental office software such as Dentrix.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control procedures.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants and other complex procedures confidently.</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with excellent patient care skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills for patient assessment discussions and team collaboration.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and infection prevention practices.
