This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your customer service skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS</li><li>Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality</li><li>Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales</li><li>Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, including handling cash handling duties and processing sales transactions</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly</li><li>Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed to ensure smooth operations</li><li>Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail recipes to provide expert recommendations</li><li>Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous</li><li>Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances your ability to serve confidently</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods</li><li>Demonstrated sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages and menu items effectively</li><li>Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques</li><li>Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach</li><li>Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred; experience with food handling regulations is beneficial</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Join us as a server where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
