Role Overview: We are looking for a bold and driven Head of Business Development to aggressively expand our market presence and accelerate revenue growth across the payment&rsquo;s ecosystem in Pakistan. This role is all about winning new business, closing high-value deals, and forging powerful partnerships with banks, FinTechs, PSPs, telcos, and merchants. The ideal candidate is a relentless business and sales leader who thrives on building pipelines, outpacing competitors, and delivering rapid, scalable growth in the fast-moving digital payments industry.Key Responsibilities:Strategy &amp; Leadership:<ul><li>Define and drive the company&rsquo;s business development strategy aligned with growth ambitions in the payment ecosystem.</li><li>Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing business development team across Pakistan.</li><li>Build market intelligence frameworks to anticipate industry shifts and position the company as a leader in payment innovation.</li><li>Build business models around Third-Party Processing (TPP), BIN sponsorship, and Aggregator/PSP models.</li><li>Lead the market entry and expansion strategy, aligned with company goals and local regulations. Market Expansion &amp; Client Management</li><li>Develop and nurture relationships with banks, FinTech, PSPs, telcos, merchants, and other ecosystem stakeholders.</li><li>Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships that enhance our technology stack, distribution channels, and solution offerings.</li><li>Explore opportunities for expansion in new markets and segments, leveraging global partnerships.</li><li>Lead high-value proposals, RFPs, and solution design for large-scale client implementations.</li><li>Act as the strategic advisor and primary point of contact for key accounts.</li><li>Revenue, Growth and P&amp;L Management Own the business development pipeline and ensure consistent achievement of revenue targets.</li><li>Drive consultative selling by aligning client needs with our technology-led, solution-driven offerings.</li><li>Collaborate with product and technology teams to influence the development of innovative, market-relevant solutions.</li><li>Take full ownership of the Business Development P&amp;L, driving strategic initiatives to maximize revenue, optimize costs, and deliver sustainable profit growth Cross-Functional Alignment Partner with marketing to craft go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and thought leadership in the payments space.</li><li>Work with operations and delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and value realization.</li><li>Provide regular performance reports, revenue forecasts, and business insights to senior leadership.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Finance, or Technology (MBA preferred)..10-12 years of progressive experience in the payments, fintech, or financial services industry.Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role managing business &amp; sales lines and experience in the following areas;Card Issuing (CMS, digital issuance, EMV)Merchant Acquiring (POS, e-commerce, TMS)Card Personalization &amp; FulfilmentThird-Party Processing (TPP)On-Prem or Hybrid Technology DeploymentsManaged &amp; Outsourced Payment Services Back Office Payment Processing (Reconciliation, Disputes)Payment Gateway &amp; Aggregator/PSP Business ModelsFamiliarity with Pakistan&rsquo;s regulatory environment (SBP, PTA), Local and global schemes (PayPak, Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, etc.)Skills &amp; Attributes: Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of payment business models.
