 Position: Associate - Investment MIS &amp; Transaction Support
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 JOB PURPOSE:
 
 
 
 To collect, collate, monitor, conceptualize and analyze management of various OIA invested asset classes, provide periodic actionable insights through Investment MIS &amp; TS reports/dashboards to OIA&rsquo;s, and accurately input the transactions relating to contributions/receipt of funds for various investments internal &amp; external stakeholders in order to support better decision making at the Authority.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 
 &bull; To develop in-depth awareness of the different asset classes along with their investments made by OIA to take advantage and contribute to a better support of the Authority in its decision-making.
 
 
 &bull; Create formats for collecting financial/ non-financial data from internal as well external sources (typically investee companies) to acquire relevant information.
 
 
 &bull; Acquire financial/ non-financial datasets from primary and secondary sources and store it in a suitable format to enable its efficient analysis and interpretation using different analytical tools.
 
 
 &bull; Identify and track key metrics to prepare various MIS &amp; TS reports.
 
 
 &bull; Interpret data and analyze results using different analytic tools to be shared with the Sr. Manager/ Manager &ndash; MIS &amp;TS.
 
 
 &bull; Create benchmark analysis with the national Company&rsquo;s peers &amp; competitors to enable the comparison of the companies&rsquo; performance against the market.
 
 
 &bull; Prepare reports and present data analysis to help asset managers and other stakeholders in making sound decisions related to OIA&rsquo;s businesses.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends and analyze causes of unexpected variance to share the information with the Sr. Manager/ Manager &ndash; MIS &amp; TS and contribute to his well-informed decisions.
 
 
 &bull; Provide data as required by external stakeholders based on regular/ad hoc requests to meet their request efficiently and in a timely manner.
 
 
 &bull; Provide data to the Corporate Media &amp; Communication directorate at OIA based on request in order to communicate it externally.
 
 
 &bull; Comply with the implementation of MIS &amp; TS departmental policies and procedures, to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled.
 
 
 &bull; Comply with all relevant health, safety, and quality requirements, in order to guarantee employee safety and legislative compliance.
 
 
 &bull; Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering &lsquo;leading best practices&rsquo;, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree Specialization in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or any other relevant field
 
 
 &bull; CFA, CMA, CPA, FMVA, FRM is desirable
 
 
 &bull; 6 to 7 years of related experience for Associate
 
 
 &bull; 8 to 10 years of related experience for Senior Associate
 
 
 &bull; Fluency in English is essential
 
 
 &bull; Fluency in Arabic is advantageous
 
 
 &bull; Proficiency in MS Office is essential (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
 
 
 &bull; Experience with business related software is desirable
