OverviewHello!We are a new private dental practice in Alafaya that has been open since October 2025. We are currently a small team that is looking to expand!Our Mission is to be a pillar within the community providing high quality dental care and education. A practice that is driven by clinical excellence, systematic workflow, in-office fun, and improvement in our patients&rsquo; health.Our Vision is to become a practice that prides itself on collaborative team effort. We are all open-minded and are here to work together towards a common goal.We are currently open 8-5 M, T, W, F - we are closed on ThursdaysDuties<ul><li>Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health.</li><li>Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.</li><li>Assist with chairside procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and ensuring aseptic techniques are strictly followed.</li><li>Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are adhered to.</li><li>Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.</li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. (We use Curve)</li><li>Support infection control protocols by sterilizing equipment, managing dental supplies, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current credentials to practice in a clinical setting.</li><li>Proven experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry environments, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in dental terminology, medical coding, and documentation review to ensure precise recordkeeping.</li><li>Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.</li><li>Experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient patient documentation.</li><li>Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient workflow during patient care.</li><li>Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs quickly and effectively.
