In this role, you will specialize in the precise brazing of refrigerant lines within HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform refrigerant line brazing using hand tools and welding techniques to connect HVAC system components accurately and securely.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical diagrams to execute installations and repairs effectively.</li><li>Assist with HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair, including refrigeration units, boilers, and building automation systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and electrical testers.</li><li>Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repair to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.</li><li>Collaborate with service technicians on field service projects involving HVAC/R systems, plumbing, electrical diagnostics, and appliance repair.</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, repair logs, and schematic references.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Construction experience combined with a solid background in HVAC system installation and repair.</li><li>Service technician experience with a focus on refrigeration, air conditioning, and mechanical systems repair.</li><li>Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans accurately.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge including plumbing, electrical systems, building automation systems, and boiler operation.</li><li>Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, soldering equipment, welding tools, and ohmmeters.</li><li>Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus for specialized projects involving hazardous refrigerants.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record; familiarity with &lt;PERSON&gt; driver requirements preferred.</li><li>EPA certification for refrigerant handling; knowledge of HVAC/R safety protocols is essential.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during service visits or installations.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about mechanical systems repair and eager to develop your expertise in a vibrant environment where your skills make a real difference!Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
