Status/Compensation: Hourly/Non-Exempt | $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
Supervisor: Audio Visual Operations Manager
Responsibilities:<ul><li>Overall responsibility for the daily set-up, operation, and strike of audio visual equipment for live productions in a hospitality environment and provide real-time troubleshooting and technical support during events</li><li>Serve as the primary on-site operational lead during assigned shifts, directing technicians and freelancers to ensure efficient labor deployment and adherence to production timelines.</li><li>Act as the primary client contact on the event floor, providing professional communication and service recovery when necessary to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Review event orders, production notes, and room diagrams to ensure correct equipment staging, room readiness, and client expectations are met.</li><li>Perform quality assurance checks on all setups to verify equipment functionality, signal flow, cable management, and presentation standards before client arrival.</li><li>Promote exemplary customer service to both our facility customer/partner, and our mutual end-user clients. Acts as primary liaison to clients on the event floor.</li><li>Coordinate closely with hotel operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.</li><li>Train, coach, and mentor technicians and freelance staff on operational procedures, technical standards, and client service expectations.</li><li>Maintain a professional image, as well as a safe and healthy work environment.</li><li>Shares with the ON Site team in evening, weekend, holiday, and split-shift calls, to accommodate customer needs.</li><li>Complete all required daily paperwork and reporting, as well as required ON Site training.</li><li>Any duties as assigned to support property Director, to assist in goals of growing revenue, cutting cost, improving customer service scores, or problem resolution.</li></ul>
Education/Experience/Certification:<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred</li><li>Minimum of three years experience with in-house audio visual services</li><li>Background in music, recording, audio visual, computers or related technology fields preferred</li><li>Written, verbal, and comprehension skills in English required. Fluency in a second language is helpful</li><li>Organization skills and attention to detail are essential</li><li>Must have finger dexterity to operate office and audio visual equipment as needed</li><li>Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office must be demonstrated</li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed</li><li>Requires physical mobility, including sitting, standing, walking, stooping, climbing, crawling, grasping, writing, repetitive motions, bending, listening, with applicable hearing and vision ability</li><li>Work is performed indoors and outdoors as needed</li></ul></div>
