Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a dynamic environment that values proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.Duties<ul><li>Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery.</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and analysis skills.</li><li>Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, valves, sensors, and wiring in accordance with safety standards.</li><li>Operate specialized tools including welders (including &lt;LOCATION&gt; welding), scissor lifts, and other field service equipment to access hard-to-reach areas.</li><li>Interpret technical schematics and control diagrams for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems to diagnose issues accurately.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).</li><li>Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize equipment performance and implement process improvements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage systems, low voltage controls, HVAC/R systems, and industrial electrician standards.</li><li>Support customer service initiatives by providing technical assistance during field service visits or troubleshooting sessions.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics.</li><li>Proficiency in reading schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals related to industrial equipment.</li><li>Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including &lt;LOCATION&gt; welding), and precision measuring instruments.</li><li>Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their programming or troubleshooting is highly desirable.</li><li>Electrical experience including low voltage systems, high voltage safety procedures, ammeters, ohmmeters, and analysis skills.</li><li>Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and documentation.</li><li>Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.</li><li>Ability to perform field service tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Industrial mechanic experience complemented by analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues quickly.</li><li>Military background or experience in industrial maintenance roles is a plus for this position.
