<ul><li>Design &amp; Engineering: Perform wall thickness calculations and stress analysis for buried and above-ground pipelines.
</li><li>Routing &amp; Alignment: Assist in selecting optimal pipeline routes by evaluating environmental constraints, terrain, and existing infrastructure.
</li><li>Technical Documentation: Prepare Alignment Sheets and Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
</li><li>Compliance &amp; Safety: Ensure all designs meet federal and local regulations (e.g., PHMSA, ASME, or API standards). Participate in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) reviews.
</li><li>Procurement Support: Draft technical specifications for the purchase of pipes, valves, pumps, and fittings; review vendor bids for technical accuracy.
</li><li>Field Support: Provide engineering support during the construction and commissioning phases, including responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) from the field.
</li><li>Problem Solving: The ability to find creative routing solutions when geographical or legal &quot;blockers&quot; arise.
</li><li>Communication: Clearly explaining technical constraints to non-engineering stakeholders (landowners, environmental teams).
</li><li>Adaptability: Comfortable shifting between high-level office design and hands-on site visits.</li>
</ul><h6 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications:</b></h6>
<ul><li>Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Mechanical) with Piping design experience in O&amp;G is a must.
</li><li>3 years in pipeline design, preferably with exposure to both FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and detailed engineering. in the Oil &amp; Gas industry.
</li><li>Software - Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, CAESAR II (Stress Analysis).
</li><li>Codes - Strong working knowledge of ASME B31.4, B31.8, and API 5L.</li>
