We are seeking a full-time, on-premises Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and dependable accounting professional with strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, hands-on QuickBooks Online experience, and the ability to manage day-to-day bookkeeping as well as more advanced accounting functions.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced office environment. This individual should be professional, organized, responsive, and comfortable supporting both accounting operations and general office needs.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and daily accounting operations</li><li>Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable</li><li>Process payments via credit card, check, and wire transfer</li><li>Review account coding and classifications to ensure accuracy and consistency</li><li>Prepare and post journal entries</li><li>Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Monitor and maintain accurate records for bank deposits, receivables, and inter-company transactions</li><li>Review, prepare, and file sales tax returns monthly or quarterly, as required</li><li>Support and help manage the month-end close process</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts for monthly close procedures</li><li>Record and review accruals, prepaids, and depreciation</li><li>Prepare financial statements, management reports, and activity summaries from QuickBooks Online</li><li>Assist with financial statement analysis and performance reporting</li><li>Review cash flow and work with management on budgeting and financial planning</li><li>Assist in resolving unusual or complex accounting issues</li><li>Clean up unapplied cash, disputed balances, and other problematic AP/AR items</li><li>Enter weekly payroll reports and provide payroll support when needed</li><li>Assist with monthly commissions payable</li><li>Coordinate with external CPA/accountant for month-end and year-end closing support</li><li>Provide year-end documentation and support for outside accountants/CPAs</li><li>Review internal controls and assist with approval procedures and accounting safeguards</li><li>Complete account postings and maintain accurate financial records</li><li>Assist management with office tasks and administrative support as needed</li><li>Provide professional assistance via phone, mail, and email</li><li>Support order processing and contribute to a positive, helpful workplace</li><li>Perform other duties and special projects as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role</li><li>Strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles</li><li>Proficiency in QuickBooks Online</li><li>Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Experience with CRM software is a plus</li><li>Strong understanding of reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Professional, courteous, and team-oriented approach</li><li>Comfortable with computers, office tasks, and working in a collaborative environment</li></ul>Preferred Traits<ul><li>Positive, upbeat attitude</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and take initiative</li><li>Reliable, accurate, and responsive under pressure</li></ul>Prefer<ul><li>QuickBooks Online Certification</li><li>Certified Bookkeeper (CB)</li></ul>*Why Join UsWe are looking for someone who will be more than just a bookkeeper&mdash;someone who will be a trusted part of the team and a positive presence in the office every day.
