As a Scientist (Analytical Chemistry) at Illumina you will work in our labs to prepare and analyse samples, conduct experiments and develop methods on Illumina instruments.This is an onsite position to be based out Europe Head Office in Cambridge, UK. The suitable candidate will have a BSc within a relevant subject such as Chemistry, or Biochemistry, with some lab based experience within industry being preferred. Full training will be provided however basic lab skills are essential for the role. Director, Lab Operations and Diagnostic Deployment

Lir Therapeutics is a VC-backed biotech start-up that's focused on unlocking the next generation of gene therapy using AI. Lir's current work focuses on adeno-associated virus (AAV), one of the major gene therapy vectors in use. Our current aim is to completely redesign AAV, in order to generate therapies that are more effective, safer, and cheaper. Your role will focus on developing novel AI/ML models to add to our nAAVigator viral design platform. We're looking for someone excited to jump in and solve some of biology's hardest problems - someone with a passion for AI engineering.
