Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic flow on construction sites and other work zones. This position requires a strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to communicate effectively with employees, clients, and the public.Duties<ul><li>Supervise direction of traffic using hand signals, flags, or other devices to ensure safe passage through construction zones.</li><li>Monitor and manage the movement of vehicles and pedestrians around construction sites.</li><li>Coordinate with construction crews to facilitate safe work practices while minimizing disruptions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations and protocols at all times.</li><li>Maintain clear communication with team members regarding site conditions and traffic patterns.</li></ul>Skills and Requirements<ul><li>DOT certification and large truck experience</li><li>Supervisory Experience</li><li>Strong understanding of construction site dynamics and traffic control measures.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and the public.</li><li>Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety protocols.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during operations.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Maryland Traffic Control Standards</li><li>Dependability and Reliability a must</li><li>Your Own Reliable Transportation that is not shared and not public transportation</li><li>the ability to work full days without interruption or other obligations</li><li>Clear driving record and driver's license</li></ul>Join our team as a Traffic Control Lead and contribute to creating safer work environments while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry.Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have any Crew Lead Flagging experience?</li><li>Do you have a current ATSSA card?</li><li>Do you have a current MOT card?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
