Job Summary:The IT Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and support for our clients' technology needs. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-oriented attitude, and the ability to resolve technical issues promptly. As an IT Support Specialist at Onetech, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for managing user support requests, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless IT operations.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues, including hardware, software, network, and peripheral equipment.</li><li>Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including computers, printers, and networking devices at client premises.</li><li>Assist clients via phone, email, and remote access, ensuring timely and professional communication.</li><li>Carry out structured cabling work, including installation and management of Ethernet cables, patch panels, and switches.</li><li>Troubleshoot system errors, perform diagnostics, and ensure swift resolutions for any technical issues.</li><li>Set up and configure network devices such as routers, firewalls, and wireless access points at client sites</li><li>Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure all systems are running efficiently.</li><li>Support IT security initiatives, monitoring systems, and performing regular updates and maintenance.</li><li>Assist with security updates, backups, and data recovery at client locations</li><li>Document technical procedures and configurations for each client engagement</li><li>Provide training and guidance to client staff on basic troubleshooting and system usage</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>1-2 years of experience in IT support, including field-based work and cabling</li><li>Strong understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems, and IT management tools</li><li>Hands-on experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic network configuration</li><li>Experience in structured cabling, network installation, and cable management tools.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is an advantage</li></ul>Skills and Competencies:<ul><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently at client sites with minimal supervision</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple on-site tasks and prioritize effectively</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, FresherPay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
