We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and provide reliable financial reporting to company leadership.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of managing multiple accounting functions in a growing business environment.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable</li><li>Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are properly recorded</li><li>Complete bank and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports</li><li>Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting</li><li>Process or oversee payroll</li><li>Prepare and file sales tax reports</li><li>Track customer payments, vendor invoices, expenses, and outstanding balances</li><li>Support job costing, inventory accounting, and profitability analysis</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation</li><li>Coordinate year-end accounting activities with the company&rsquo;s CPA</li><li>Assist leadership with financial analysis and business planning</li><li>Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal controls</li><li>Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferred</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and general ledger accounting</li><li>Experience preparing financial reports, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts</li><li>Proficiency with QuickBooks and Google Sheets</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li><li>Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with leadership</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Experience with job costing and inventory accounting</li><li>Experience in manufacturing, construction, logistics, restoration, or another project-based business</li><li>Experience improving accounting systems and internal processes</li><li>Familiarity with Texas sales tax reporting</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday through Friday</li><li>Full-time, in-person position</li><li>Occasional additional availability may be required during month-end or year-end reporting periods</li></ul>We are an equal opportunity employer and consider applicants based on qualifications, experience, and business needs.Pay: From $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Accounting: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Bryan, TX 77807 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
