Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and manage all quality-related operations in the shirt manufacturing division. The role is responsible for ensuring that all garments meet buyer standards and factory quality requirements from raw material to final shipment. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of shirt construction, quality checkpoints, audits, and team management.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management<ul><li>Develop and maintain quality control systems for all stages of shirt production (cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing).</li><li>Establish quality standards and ensure adherence to buyer specifications.</li><li>Implement quality processes such as inline inspection, end-line audit, and final inspection.</li></ul>Inspection &amp; Audits<ul><li>Oversee fabric inspection, trims inspection, and pre-production sample approvals.</li><li>Conduct in-line and end-line quality audits to reduce defects and rework.</li><li>Manage final AQL inspections and coordinate with buyers/third-party auditors.</li><li>Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li></ul>Process Improvement<ul><li>Analyze defect data and develop strategies to improve garment quality.</li><li>Set up checkpoints and quality systems to minimize defects and rejects.</li><li>Work closely with production, cutting, IE, and merchandising teams to improve quality performance.</li></ul>Team Leadership<ul><li>Supervise and guide QC/QA team members including line QC, inline inspectors, and finishing QAs.</li><li>Conduct training for staff on quality standards, stitching techniques, and SOP compliance.</li><li>Monitor team performance and ensure quality discipline on the production floor.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain quality reports such as defect analysis, audit reports, inline reports, and final inspection summaries.</li><li>Ensure all quality documentation is properly recorded and shared with management.</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Standards<ul><li>Ensure compliance with buyer quality requirements, safety standards, and factory guidelines.</li><li>Work closely with compliance teams during audits (social, technical, CTPAT, etc.).</li><li>Ensure machinery and operators follow quality-related safety protocols.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or relevant field.</li><li>7&ndash;12 years of experience in garment quality assurance, specifically in shirt manufacturing.</li><li>Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing quality, finishing, and AQL standards.</li><li>Experience with buyer audits and international quality standards.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and quality documentation.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Knowledge of Lean Quality Systems, 5S, Kaizen, and root-cause analysis (Fishbone, 5 Why).</li><li>Ability to analyze problems and implement quick corrective actions.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;65,000.00 - &#8377;75,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person

Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:The Merchandiser is responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process for shirt orders&mdash;from product development and sampling to production follow-up and shipment. The role requires strong coordination with buyers, production, sourcing, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery, competitive costing, and adherence to quality standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Buyer Communication &amp; Order Management<ul><li>Act as the key contact between buyers and the factory for all shirt orders.</li><li>Understand buyer requirements, specifications, and technical details for each style.</li><li>Manage sampling, approvals, and order confirmations.</li><li>Ensure clarity in communication regarding style details, trims, fabric, and delivery timelines.</li></ul>2. Product Development &amp; Sampling<ul><li>Coordinate with the sampling department for proto, fit, size set, and pre-production samples.</li><li>Ensure timely submission and approval of samples from buyers.</li><li>Collaborate with designers and fabric sourcing teams for new fabric and trim developments.</li></ul>3. Costing &amp; Negotiation<ul><li>Prepare cost sheets considering fabric, trims, accessories, and overheads.</li><li>Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve target margins.</li><li>Support management in price negotiations with buyers.</li></ul>4. Production Follow-up<ul><li>Create and monitor Time and Action (T&amp;A) calendars for all orders.</li><li>Coordinate with the production, fabric, and trimming teams to ensure on-time delivery.</li><li>Monitor order progress from fabric in-house to cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing.</li><li>Resolve any production or quality issues in coordination with relevant departments.</li></ul>5. Material Planning &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Ensure timely fabric and trim approvals and in-house arrivals.</li><li>Work closely with sourcing and store teams to manage material flow as per production plans.</li><li>Verify consumption and material requisitions to control cost and wastage.</li></ul>6. Quality &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure all garments meet buyer quality standards and technical specifications.</li><li>Coordinate with quality assurance and inspection teams during pre-final and final inspections.</li><li>Maintain buyer compliance documentation and audit requirements.</li></ul>7. Documentation &amp; Shipment<ul><li>Prepare and verify order documentation, packing lists, and shipment details.</li><li>Follow up with logistics and commercial departments for on-time shipments and document dispatch.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or diploma in Garment Manufacturing / Fashion Technology / Textile Engineering.</li><li>5&ndash;8 years of experience in merchandising for woven shirts (export or domestic).</li><li>Strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, costing, and production processes.</li><li>Excellent communication and buyer handling skills.</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Excel, ERP systems, and T&amp;A management tools.</li><li>Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):<ul><li>On-time order delivery rate</li><li>Sample approval turnaround time</li><li>Costing accuracy and margin achievement</li><li>Buyer satisfaction and repeat order rate</li><li>Production and shipment adherence to T&amp;A</li></ul>Personal Attributes:<ul><li>Detail-oriented and highly organized</li><li>Strong negotiation and analytical skills</li><li>Proactive and solution-driven attitude</li><li>Team player with leadership potential</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;40,000.00 - &#8377;45,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
