POSITION OVERVIEW:</b></h3><p>
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk to join our growing SaaS startup. In this role, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for managing billing, collections, and cash application processes to ensure timely and accurate receipt of customer payments. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></h3><ul><li>
Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliations.</li><li>
Generate and send invoices using NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contract terms.</li><li>
Monitor customer accounts for timely payment and follow up on outstanding balances.</li><li>
Communicate directly with customers regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and payment arrangements in a professional and customer-friendly manner.</li><li>
Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, and Finance teams to resolve billing issues and maintain positive customer relationships.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of AR activities and collections status in NetSuite, Google Sheets, and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce).</li><li>
Prepare regular aging reports and assist with month-end close and AR-related reporting.</li><li>
Identify and escalate potential bad debt concerns or process inefficiencies.</li><li>
Support internal process improvements and documentation initiatives to scale AR operations.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
QUALIFICATIONS:</b></h3><ul><li>
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or billing, preferably in a SaaS or tech company.</li><li>
Proficiency with NetSuite (or other ERP systems) and Google Workspace, especially Sheets and Docs.</li><li>
Experience using HubSpot and/or Salesforce to track customer communication or billing workflows is a plus.</li><li>
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and customers.</li><li>
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.</li><li>
Understanding of standard AR metrics, cash flow, and basic accounting principles.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
