Let's get it!Duties<ul><li>Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently</li><li>Manage medication intake and ensure proper documentation</li><li>Support patient care by providing medication information and answering questions</li><li>Prepare sterile products using aseptic technique for IV infusions and other parenteral therapies</li><li>Maintain inventory levels, stock medications, and ensure proper storage conditions</li><li>Follow all safety protocols related to medication handling and patient confidentiality</li><li>Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and hospital policies</li><li>Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and coordinating with healthcare providers</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior pharmacy technician experience is required, preferably within LTC pharmacy or hospital environments</li><li>Critical care experience is a strong plus, especially related to acute care settings</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and aseptic techniques is essential</li><li>Experience with IV infusion preparation and sterile compounding is highly desirable</li><li>Familiarity with hospital procedures, patient service protocols, and intake processes will be advantageous</li><li>Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety</li></ul>Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourWork Location: In person
