Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our vibrant dental team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment dedicated to excellence in dental health.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained</li><li>Take and develop X-ray images while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols</li><li>Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and medical coding</li><li>Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments</li><li>Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow</li><li>Operate advanced dental technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning</li><li>Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology to communicate effectively with team members and patients</li><li>Ensure all clinical areas are clean, organized, and compliant with infection control standards</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent credential</li><li>Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures</li><li>Proficiency in EMR systems like Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend</li><li>Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization protocols</li><li>Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during procedures such as X-ray imaging, vital signs collection, and medical imaging</li><li>Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, patients, and administrative staff</li><li>Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail</li><li>Team player able to prioritize and multitask.</li></ul>Join us to make a difference in patients&rsquo; lives by providing compassionate care supported by cutting-edge technology.
