Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong VB.NET and SQL Server expertise to design, develop, and support Windows desktop and web-based business applications. The ideal candidate will work across the full application stack, maintaining existing systems while contributing to new feature development and performance improvements.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications using VB.NET (WinForms / WPF)</li><li>Develop and maintain web-based applications using ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC / Web Forms</li></ul><ul><li>Design, write, and optimize SQL Server database objects:</li><li>Stored Procedures</li><li>Functions</li><li>Views</li><li>Indexes</li></ul><ul><li>Build and maintain data-driven business logic and integrations</li><li>Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and database issues</li><li>Optimize application performance and database query execution</li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions</li><li>Maintain technical documentation and follow coding best practices</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>3+ years of professional VB.NET / .NET development experience</li><li>Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in:</li><li>VB.NET</li><li>ASP.NET (Web Forms and/or MVC)</li><li>HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic to intermediate)</li><li>T-SQL (joins, CTEs, indexes, performance tuning)</li></ul><ul><li>Experience supporting and enhancing existing/legacy applications</li><li>Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Familiarity with source control systems (Git preferred)</li></ul>Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills<ul><li>Experience with DevExpress or other third-party UI frameworks</li><li>Experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS, or reporting tools</li><li>Knowledge of REST APIs / Web Services</li><li>Exposure to deployment pipelines (IIS, MSI, ClickOnce, CI/CD)</li><li>Experience with retail, POS, inventory, or ERP systems</li><li>Familiarity with .NET Framework and .NET Core</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per monthWork Location: Remote
