.NET Developer (VB.NET / Windows & Web Applications / SQL Server)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong VB.NET and SQL Server expertise to design, develop, and support Windows desktop and web-based business applications. The ideal candidate will work across the full application stack, maintaining existing systems while contributing to new feature development and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications using VB.NET (WinForms / WPF)
• Develop and maintain web-based applications using ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC / Web Forms

• Design, write, and optimize SQL Server database objects:
• Stored Procedures
• Functions
• Views
• Indexes

• Build and maintain data-driven business logic and integrations
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and database issues
• Optimize application performance and database query execution
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Maintain technical documentation and follow coding best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional VB.NET / .NET development experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server

• Proficiency in:
• VB.NET
• ASP.NET (Web Forms and/or MVC)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic to intermediate)
• T-SQL (joins, CTEs, indexes, performance tuning)

• Experience supporting and enhancing existing/legacy applications
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with source control systems (Git preferred)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with DevExpress or other third-party UI frameworks
• Experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS, or reporting tools
• Knowledge of REST APIs / Web Services
• Exposure to deployment pipelines (IIS, MSI, ClickOnce, CI/CD)
• Experience with retail, POS, inventory, or ERP systems
• Familiarity with .NET Framework and .NET Core

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
