We are focused on delivering top-tier service, building elite crews, and scaling to multiple locations.We don&rsquo;t just hire movers&mdash;we build high-performing teams.We&rsquo;re looking for someone who can help us find, train, and develop the best talent in the industry.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Talent &amp; Training Manager to take full ownership of:<ul><li>Recruiting top-quality movers and drivers</li><li>Screening and selecting the right candidates</li><li>Training new hires to meet our standards</li><li>Improving team performance and retention</li></ul>This is NOT a basic recruiting role&mdash;this is a performance-driven position responsible for building a strong, reliable team.Key Responsibilities1. Recruiting &amp; Pipeline Management<ul><li>Post and manage job listings across platforms (Indeed, Facebook, etc.)</li><li>Actively source candidates (referrals, gyms, labor networks, etc.)</li><li>Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified applicants</li><li>Ensure we are never short-staffed</li></ul>2. Screening &amp; Hiring<ul><li>Conduct phone interviews and in-person interviews</li><li>Identify high-quality candidates (reliability, attitude, work ethic)</li><li>Eliminate low-quality applicants quickly</li><li>Make hiring recommendations and decisions</li></ul>3. Training &amp; Onboarding<ul><li>Run new hire onboarding process</li><li>Train movers on:</li><li>Proper wrapping &amp; protection</li><li>Efficiency and speed</li><li>Customer service expectations</li><li>Ensure all new hires meet company standards within first 1&ndash;2 weeks</li></ul>4. Performance Tracking &amp; Accountability<ul><li>Track new hire performance (first 30 days)</li><li>Work with Operations Manager to:</li><li>Identify top performers</li><li>Address underperformance</li><li>Recommend promotions, discipline, or termination</li></ul>5. Culture &amp; Retention<ul><li>Help build a strong, team-oriented culture</li><li>Improve employee retention through better hiring and training</li><li>Maintain high standards and accountability across the team</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForMUST HAVE:<ul><li>Strong people judgment (can quickly tell who will/won&rsquo;t work out)</li><li>High standards and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to take ownership and make decisions</li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills</li></ul>PREFERRED:<ul><li>Experience in recruiting, hiring, or staffing</li><li>Experience in labor, construction, or moving industry</li><li>Experience training or managing teams</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Base Pay: $600 &ndash; $900 per week (based on experience)</li><li>Performance Bonuses:</li><li>$100 per successful hire (after 30 days)</li><li>Additional bonuses for team performance &amp; retention</li></ul>Success Metrics (How You Win in This Role)<ul><li>Number of quality hires per week</li><li>30-day retention rate of new hires</li><li>Improvement in crew performance</li><li>Reduction in staffing shortages</li></ul>Why This Role MattersThis position is critical to the growth of our company.
