We are a fast paced Mountain Brand that is continually improving and innovating in all departments.DescriptionPosition Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of a growing craft brewery. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate books in QuickBooks, performing detailed account reconciliations, processing payroll, assisting with employee onboarding, managing vendor relationships, supporting customer payment follow-up, and assisting with weekly cash flow monitoring. The ideal candidate is confident in QuickBooks, strong in account reconciliations, proactive in communication, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting &amp; QuickBooks:<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date books in QuickBooks</li><li>Record and categorize all financial transactions</li><li>Perform monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations</li><li>Reconcile Undeposited Funds, gift cards, and clearing accounts</li><li>Manage accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments</li><li>Prepare and issue invoices as needed</li><li>Assist with monthly close process and reporting support</li><li>Maintain organized digital records and documentation</li></ul>Accounts Receivable &amp; Customer Follow-Up:<ul><li>Monitor accounts receivable aging and maintain accurate customer balances</li><li>Follow up professionally on outstanding customer payments</li><li>Communicate with customers regarding past-due invoices</li><li>Escalate collection issues to management as appropriate</li><li>Apply customer payments accurately within QuickBooks</li></ul>Payroll &amp; HR Administration<ul><li>Process payroll accurately and on schedule</li><li>Coordinate with payroll provider and ensure compliance with tax filings</li><li>Manage employee onboarding (I-9s, W-4s, direct deposit setup, new hire reporting)</li><li>Maintain employee files and payroll records</li><li>Track PTO balances and assist with benefits administration</li><li>Support offboarding documentation as needed</li></ul>Cash Flow &amp; Financial Support<ul><li>Assist with weekly cash flow tracking and reporting</li><li>Track merchant deposits and POS settlements</li><li>Support inventory and deposit reconciliations (including keg deposits)</li></ul>Vendor &amp; Administrative Support<ul><li>Manage vendor relationships and respond to accounting-related inquiries</li><li>Ensure vendor W-9s and compliance documentation are on file</li><li>Monitor and manage incoming accounting and vendor emails</li><li>Assist with insurance certificates and license tracking as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of bookkeeping experience (hospitality or brewery experience preferred)</li><li>Strong proficiency in QuickBooks</li><li>Demonstrated experience with detailed account reconciliations</li><li>Experience processing payroll independently</li><li>Working knowledge of payroll compliance requirements</li><li>Strong Excel skills</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment</li><li>Professional written and verbal communication skills</li></ul>What Success Looks Like<ul><li>Clean, reconciled books delivered monthly</li><li>Accurate and timely payroll processing</li><li>Organized and efficient onboarding process</li><li>Clear visibility into accounts receivable and cash flow</li><li>Minimal cleanup required at month end</li></ul>This part-time position is not eligible for company benefits.Salary$26 - $30 per hourPay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
