This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food industry expertise while fostering guest relations and contributing to a vibrant atmosphere.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming environment.</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen.</li><li>Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.</li><li>Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and give correct change.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with general sanitation duties in accordance with food handling regulations.</li><li>Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable experience in both restaurant and nightlife settings.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable.</li><li>Demonstrated skills in upselling, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly.</li><li>Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.</li><li>Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with guest-focused attitude; previous host/hostess or bussing experience is advantageous.
