Job DescriptionWe are looking for a qualified electrician to join our growing renewable energy team on a full-time, long-term basis.This is a field-based role working across Manchester and the North West, installing and supporting renewable energy systems including Solar PV, Battery Storage, and Air Source Heat Pumps.We are not looking for short-term labour &mdash; we want someone reliable who is looking for consistent work and long-term stability.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Carry out electrical installations in domestic and light commercial properties</li><li>Install and assist with Solar PV, Battery Storage, and ASHP systems</li><li>Perform testing, inspection, and commissioning</li><li>Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and industry standards</li><li>Complete all required certification and documentation</li><li>Work independently and maintain high-quality standards on-site</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation</li><li>ECS Gold Card</li><li>18th Edition Wiring Regulations</li><li>Ability to work independently without supervision</li><li>Full UK driving licence</li></ul>Preferred (Not Essential)<ul><li>Experience with Solar PV or renewable energy systems</li><li>Inspection &amp; Testing (2391 or equivalent)</li><li>MCS-related training or experience</li></ul>Pay &amp; StructureSalary and payment structure are flexible and will depend on experience.We are open to:<ul><li>Full-time employed (PAYE)</li><li>Subcontractor / self-employed (paid per job or per installation)</li></ul>This will be discussed during the interview.Job Details<ul><li>Full-time, Permanent</li><li>Field-based (On the road)</li><li>No fixed daily starting location</li><li>Work across Manchester / North West</li></ul>About UsWe are a growing renewable energy company focused on delivering high-quality installations.
