Requisition Summary
PACCAR is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Purchasing Management staff members. In this role you will be working in a key area of the business that plays an essential role in delivering our high-quality trucks to the market. 
Job Functions / Responsibilities<ul><li>
Purchasing Leadership Support:<ul><li>
Travel arrangements and calendar management</li><li>
Expense report preparation and submittal within Concur</li><li>
Coordinating leadership meetings</li><li>
Answering inbound calls</li></ul></li><li>
Coordinating events: Supplier Performance Management awards and dinner, employee recognition, and other special events</li><li>
On-boarding of new Purchasing employees and interns</li><li>
Creating and maintaining supplier and vendor contact databases</li><li>
Processing of Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Goods Receipts within SAP</li><li>
Adding and maintaining part information in PACCAR&rsquo;s purchasing systems</li><li>
Maintaining office supplies and employee equipment</li><li>
Reviewing documents for adherence to record retention policies</li><li>
Assisting in the creation and editing of communications and presentations</li><li>
Collaborating with and providing back up for other administrative support team members.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul> 
 Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>
Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information and within deadlines</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication ability</li><li>
Aptitude for organizing daily work and activities</li><li>
Excellent PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet)</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to support senior executives</li><li>
2-5 years of administrative support experience, preferably with PACCAR</li><li>
Experience with business systems / applications</li><li>
Analytical skills desirable</li><li>
Concur and SAP knowledge desirable</li></ul> 
Education<ul><li>
Associate Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred</li></ul>
