The role requires strong analytical skills, a quality-first mindset, and close collaboration with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:Manual Testing&middot; Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to derive comprehensive test scenarios.&middot; Design, document, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data.&middot; Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UAT support testing.&middot; Identify, document, track, and verify defects using tools like Jira.&middot; Validate fixes and ensure defect leakage is minimized.&middot; Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives from a QA perspective.Automation Testing&middot; Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API layers.&middot; Identify suitable test cases for automation based on ROI and stability.&middot; Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.&middot; Maintain test automation frameworks and ensure scalability and reliability.&middot; Execute automated test suites and analyze results.&middot; Collaborate with developers to improve testability of the application.Quality Ownership&middot; Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.&middot; Act as a quality gate before releases.&middot; Proactively identify risks related to quality, performance, and security.&middot; Support production issues with root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive actions.Technical Skills&middot; Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.&middot; Hands-on experience in manual testing techniques and test design strategies.&middot; Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured).&middot; Experience in API testing and backend validation.&middot; Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.&middot; Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).Tools &amp; Environment (Indicative)&middot; Test Management: Jira, TestRail (or similar)&middot; Automation: Selenium, Cypress, Appium&middot; API Testing: Postman, Swagger&middot; CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins&middot; Version Control: Git.Key Performance Indicator:&middot; Defect Leakage Rate: Maintain production defect leakage at &le; 5% per release.&middot; Automation Coverage &amp; Stability: Achieve minimum 70% regression automation coverage with less than 5% flaky tests.&middot; Requirement &amp; Test Coverage: Ensure 100% requirement traceability with comprehensive test case coverage.Goals:&middot; Zero Critical Defects in Production: Deliver high-quality releases with no critical severity issues post-deployment.&middot; Automation-Driven Efficiency: Reduce manual regression effort by at least 40% through scalable automation.&middot; Early Quality Involvement (Shift-Left): Identify risks during requirement and sprint planning phases to prevent late-stage defects.Competency Identifiers:&middot; Analytical &amp; Test Design Expertise: Strong ability to create effective test scenarios, identify edge cases, and ensure full requirement validation.&middot; Automation &amp; Technical Capability: Hands-on expertise in UI, API, and mobile automation frameworks with CI/CD integration experience.&middot; Quality Ownership &amp; Collaboration: Proactive quality mindset, strong defect reporting, RCA capability, and effective collaboration within Agile teams.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Total years of experience as an SQA Engineer?</li><li>Your Current / Last monthly pay?</li><li>Expected notice period?</li><li>Are you fine to work evening shift?
