Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including both routine cleaning and specialized tasks.Duties<ul><li>Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.</li><li>Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Execute floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.</li><li>Maintain restroom facilities by cleaning and restocking supplies regularly.</li><li>Assist with residential painting projects when necessary to support facility upkeep.</li><li>Carry out commercial cleaning tasks in various settings, ensuring high standards of hygiene are met.</li><li>Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.</li><li>Act as a porter when required, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment during events or maintenance activities.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Boiler License preferred but not required.</li><li>Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is an advantage.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.</li><li>Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving objects as needed.</li></ul>HoursMonday - Friday 8 hour midmorning to early evening shift Exact hours to be determinedAdditional hours may be available.Join our team as a Custodian and contribute to creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for all!Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
