 We are recruiting for an Employee Relations Specialist to join a growing global organization to advise multi-state labor laws and immigration compliance. The qualified candidate will have strong labor law knowledge for multiple states. This is a 100% remote role for a 6 month contract.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Act as the initial point of contact, assisting employees with all Human Resources related items, including all employee relations issues for employees in multiple states.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, immigration law and be a trusted advisor for managers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Update HR policies on accordance with current labor law.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle confidential information with discretion and always maintain strict confidentiality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties as assigned.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years of related work experience in Employee Relations, HR Generalist or HR Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 In depth, working knowledge of federal and multiple state employment laws and practices, especially with ERISA, COBRA, FSLA, DLSE, and wage and hour laws.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in employee relation and labor law.
 </li>
