Pacifics Trade Links is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Merchant with strong expertise in shirts, pants, and overall apparel merchandising. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading product development, sourcing, costing, vendor management, and end-to-end production coordination. This role requires strong industry knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple categories efficiently Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead product development for shirts, pants, and clothing categories from concept to final production</li><li>Oversee sampling, fit approvals, fabric selection, trims, and accessories</li><li>Conduct accurate costing, negotiate prices, and prepare cost sheets</li><li>Identify, onboard, and manage vendors while ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance</li><li>Maintain and monitor T&amp;A (Time &amp; Action Calendar) for all orders</li><li>Coordinate closely with production, QA, and buying teams for seamless execution</li><li>Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards</li><li>Track production status, approvals, shipment schedules, and dispatches</li><li>Conduct market research, study trends, fabrics, and competitive offerings</li><li>Prepare weekly MIS reports, production updates, and costing summaries for management</li><li>Ensure effective communication with suppliers and internal teams to avoid delays</li><li>Required Skills &amp; Experience</li><li>Strong product knowledge in shirts, pants, wovens, casual wear, and formal apparel</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years experience in apparel merchandising (senior level preferred)</li><li>Excellent vendor communication &amp; cost negotiation skills</li><li>Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, fits, and quality standards</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) and email communication</li><li>Ability to manage multiple orders, timelines, and vendor relationships</li><li>Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management</li><li>Ability to lead processes independently and take ownership of categories</li><li>Qualifications</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or diploma in Apparel Merchandising, Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or related field</li><li>Prior experience in a similar role is mandatory</li><li>Salary</li></ul>30000 to 35000 salary range )apply nowInterested candidates may send their updated CV to: [HR email finanace@ptlscarves.com ]Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;30,000.00 - &#8377;35,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Food provided</li><li>Paid sick time</li></ul>Work Location: In person
