PRODUCTION MANAGER COMPENSATION: $85-$100KSCHEDULE:Sunday- Thursday 12pm start timeSUMMARY: The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production processes at our seafood distribution plant. This role ensures the efficient and safe processing, packaging, and distribution of high-quality seafood products, while maintaining strict compliance with food safety standards and operational goals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Manage daily production operations to ensure efficient workflow and optimal use of resources.</li><li>Supervise production staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.</li><li>Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure product consistency and compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain inventory levels and minimize waste.</li><li>Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.</li><li>Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA, and other relevant seafood industry regulations.</li><li>Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.</li><li>Conduct regular safety audits and enforce company safety policies to promote a safe work environment.</li><li>Prepare production reports and present findings to Operations management.</li></ul>REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: <ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in operations management, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or related experience field preferred.</li><li>5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in the seafood or food processing industry.</li><li>Flexible schedule to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li><li>Strong knowledge of seafood processing, quality control, and industry regulations.</li><li>Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold environment with strict deadlines.</li><li>Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Vernon, CA 90058 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Vernon, CA 90058: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
