If you love driving, enjoy interacting with people, and take pride in maintaining vehicle safety standards, this is the perfect opportunity to accelerate your career in transportation and customer service.Duties<ul><li>Safely operate a variety of rental vehicles including sedans, SUVs, trucks, and specialty vehicles such as limousines or heavy equipment transporters.</li><li>Pick up and deliver rental vehicles to designated locations, including airports, hotels, or customer sites, following scheduled routes efficiently.</li><li>Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip to check for damages, cleanliness, and proper functioning of mechanical components.</li><li>Assist customers with vehicle handovers, providing clear instructions on vehicle operation and answering any questions they may have.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, mileage logs, fuel levels, and any incidents or damages encountered during shifts.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate vehicle movements and address any logistical issues promptly.</li><li>Ensure all vehicles are driven in compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies while demonstrating excellent communication skills to handle customer interactions professionally.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in commercial driving or shuttle driving; delivery driver experience is highly valued.</li><li>Familiarity with operating various types of commercial vehicles such as box trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers; knowledge of manual transmissions is a plus.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and perform routine maintenance checks.</li><li>Ability to load &amp; unload vehicles using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.</li><li>Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members clearly and professionally.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record; experience with heavy haul or heavy equipment operation is advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of route driving best practices including paratransit services, school bus driving, or yard jockey duties is beneficial.
