<div>The Edge Guard Cleaner is a production role within the Tops Department responsible for cleaning edge guard material from tabletop surfaces to ensure finished products meet Palmer Hamilton&rsquo;s quality and appearance standards. This position is an integral part of the production process and is not a housekeeping role.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to producing high-quality work while supporting overall production goals in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Production &amp; Quality Support<ul><li>
Clean edge guard material from tabletop surfaces in accordance with work instructions and quality standards.</li><li>
Inspect tabletops and materials for defects, damage, or quality issues prior to and after cleaning.</li><li>
Ensure finished products meet specifications before advancing to the next stage of production.</li><li>
Consistently meet or exceed established production rates while maintaining quality expectations.</li></ul>
Teamwork &amp; Communication<ul><li>
Communicate quality concerns or defects promptly to team leaders or supervisors.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with production team members to support workflow and production schedules.</li><li>
Assist with other departmental tasks as assigned to support overall production needs.</li></ul>
Safety &amp; Housekeeping<ul><li>
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.</li><li>
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.</li><li>
Report safety concerns, hazards, or equipment issues immediately.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies<ul><li>
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.</li><li>
Ability to identify defects and quality concerns in finished products.</li><li>
Basic communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers and supervisors.</li><li>

Qualifications<ul><li>
Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 20 pounds.</li><li>

Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.</li></ul>
