The Edge Guard Cleaner is a production role within the Tops Department responsible for cleaning edge guard material from tabletop surfaces to ensure finished products meet Palmer Hamilton’s quality and appearance standards. This position is an integral part of the production process and is not a housekeeping role.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to producing high-quality work while supporting overall production goals in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Production & Quality Support

Clean edge guard material from tabletop surfaces in accordance with work instructions and quality standards.

Inspect tabletops and materials for defects, damage, or quality issues prior to and after cleaning.

Ensure finished products meet specifications before advancing to the next stage of production.

Consistently meet or exceed established production rates while maintaining quality expectations.
Teamwork & Communication

Communicate quality concerns or defects promptly to team leaders or supervisors.

Work collaboratively with production team members to support workflow and production schedules.

Assist with other departmental tasks as assigned to support overall production needs.
Safety & Housekeeping

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
