 Palmer Square is currently seeking candidates for an Accounting Analyst position. This position offers a unique opportunity to not only work with a growing firm, but also a collaborative finance and accounting team.&nbsp;
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Analysis of financial transactions for proper accounting treatment to understand where adjustments are needed
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Preparation of monthly expense allocations based on firm expense methodology utilizing the firm&rsquo;s allocation system
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Manage daily communication between various external accounting teams such as third-party administrators, auditors, and consultants
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Reconcile administrator calculations of management and incentive fees in accordance with fund offerings
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Preparation of work papers, schedules, and reconciliations in support of financial statements for fund audits
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Prepares budgets and analysis of expenses for numerous funds
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Facilitate and reconcile payments of various fund financial statement line items
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Support creation and delivery of key operational and financial performance metrics for management oversight and board reporting
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Execute and document assigned Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Performs other related duties as assigned
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Works well independently and with minimal guidance
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Adaptable to changing needs in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 High attention to detail and the ability to effectively problem solve
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 A minimum of two years of experience in public or financial accounting
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 CPA designation is preferred
 
 </li>
