Solar Electrician needed ASAPInstall commercial work and residential battery systemsJob Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations by adhering to all safety standards and electrical codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and expand your professional growth.Responsibilities<ul><li>Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and systems in residential and commercial and industrial environments.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects.</li><li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues.</li><li>Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits to ensure optimal operation.</li><li>Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for all installations and repairs to guarantee safety and compliance.</li><li>Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and site preparations.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and document all work performed.</li><li>Use schematics and blueprints to guide installation processes on construction sites or during renovation projects.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.</li><li>Assist with handyman tasks or minor framing carpentry as needed on various projects.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.</li><li>Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.</li><li>Hands-on experience with construction site work, renovation projects, and blueprint reading.</li><li>Proficiency in working with schematics, technical diagrams, and control wiring for PLCs.</li><li>Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other electrical testing devices.</li><li>Knowledge of NEC standards related to high voltage and low voltage systems.</li><li>Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces as required on construction sites.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose electrical issues efficiently.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.</li><li>Additional experience with frame carpentry or handyman tasks is a plus.
