Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations by adhering to all safety standards and electrical codes. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and systems in residential and commercial and industrial environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits to ensure optimal operation.
• Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for all installations and repairs to guarantee safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and site preparations.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and document all work performed.
• Use schematics and blueprints to guide installation processes on construction sites or during renovation projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with handyman tasks or minor framing carpentry as needed on various projects.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with construction site work, renovation projects, and blueprint reading.
• Proficiency in working with schematics, technical diagrams, and control wiring for PLCs.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other electrical testing devices.
• Knowledge of NEC standards related to high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces as required on construction sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose electrical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.

Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
