Job DescriptionThe AR Specialist will be responsible for daily communicating with patients, collections agencies, and client staff.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manages the account receivable aging for patient responsibility.</li><li>Communicate with patients to ensure understanding of their account</li><li>Work with patients to establish payment plans in accordance with the client policy</li><li>Handle collections process for aged accounts</li><li>Generate monthly patient statements</li><li>Maintains new and existing collection files</li><li>Complete all required reports within a timely manner</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma, or equivalent</li><li>Two (2) years of account receivable experience in the healthcare industry</li><li>Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service.</li><li>Must be able to work individually as well as within a team.</li><li>Must be able to establish an effective working relationships with coworkers and client staff</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate extreme attention to detail</li><li>Must have patience and understanding during stressful conditions</li><li>Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all time</li><li>Must be able to multi-task and prioritize</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeHourly rate between $16.00 and $18.00 with room for growthJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>CPT Coding: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Medical Billing: 2 years (Required)</li><li>ICD-10: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
