Our mission is to revolutionize the logistics industry with ultra-efficient propulsion, advanced composite structures, and highly reliable aircraft systems.We are expanding our global engineering team and seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Structures) with strong expertise in structural design and SolidWorks. Collaborate with manufacturing teams in Pakistan, China, and the United States.Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in structures, mechanical systems, and precision mechanical design. The ideal candidate has deep experience with SolidWorks, structural analysis, manufacturability, materials selection, and aerospace-grade mechanical engineering practices.You will play a key role in designing critical components of our unmanned electric aircraft and supporting our engineering teams in the U.S. and abroad.Key Responsibilities Structural &amp; Mechanical Design<ul><li>Lead the structural design of aircraft components including fuselage sections, wings, landing gear, control surfaces, brackets, and load-bearing assemblies.</li><li>Create 3D models, assemblies, and fully-detailed engineering drawings in SolidWorks.</li><li>Conduct tolerance analysis, fit-checks, and structural optimization for weight, manufacturability, and safety.</li></ul>Analysis &amp; Verification<ul><li>Perform preliminary stress analysis, load calculations, and structural assessments.</li><li>Work with simulation engineers on FEA and validation processes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with aerospace structural safety factors and design standards.</li></ul>Manufacturing Support<ul><li>Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings, GD&amp;T, BOMs, and assembly instructions.</li><li>Collaborate with fabrication teams in Pakistan, China, and the United States.</li><li>Support prototyping, testing, and design iterations.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with electrical, control systems, and propulsion teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly.</li><li>Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and system-level architecture decisions.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; RequirementsMandatory Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in mechanical/structural design (aerospace preferred).</li><li>Expert-level SolidWorks proficiency (3D modeling, assemblies, drawings, surfacing).</li><li>Strong understanding of structural mechanics, loads, materials, and manufacturing processes.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience with composite structures (carbon fiber, honeycomb, etc.)</li><li>Knowledge of DFM/DFA and aerospace manufacturing techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with FEA tools (SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, etc.).</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple design tasks.</li></ul>Soft Skills<ul><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication and documentation skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup engineering environment.</li></ul>Work Environment &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Position based in Karachi, Pakistan &mdash; remote or office-based depending on candidate preference.</li><li>Competitive salary based on experience.</li><li>Opportunity to work on groundbreaking electric aircraft technology.</li><li>Direct collaboration with U.S. engineering leadership.</li><li>Career growth within a rapidly scaling aerospace company.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to Rs250,000.00 per monthWork Location: Remote
