Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer with deep expertise in aircraft design and analysis and strong CAD modeling capabilities. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end design of aircraft structures and systems, from initial concept through certification-ready design, supporting both prototype development and production planning.

The ideal candidate combines aerodynamic understanding, structural awareness, and practical CAD execution, and can work closely with propulsion, manufacturing, and certification teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead aircraft configuration and layout design, including fuselage, wings, empennage, and control surfaces
• Develop 3D CAD models of aircraft structures and assemblies suitable for analysis, prototyping, and manufacturing
• Perform and support aerodynamic, structural, and weight trade studies
• Translate design requirements into certification-ready engineering drawings
• Support FAA Part 23 compliance activities, including design data preparation and conformity support
• Collaborate with propulsion, systems, manufacturing, and flight-test teams
• Support composite structure design, including spars, ribs, skins, and load paths
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and engineering change management
• Ensure designs consider manufacturability, scalability, and production certification

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in aircraft or UAV design (electric aircraft experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of:
• Aircraft aerodynamics
• Structural design and load paths
• Weight & balance
• Flight control surfaces
• Experience working with composite materials
• Familiarity with FAA certification processes (Part 23 preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability engineering environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electric or hybrid-electric aircraft
• Familiarity with OpenVSP, CFD, or aerodynamic analysis tools
• Experience supporting prototype builds and flight testing
• Exposure to manufacturing or production engineering environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs110,000.00 per year
