If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about supporting clinical teams through precise documentation and confidentiality, this role is perfect for you!Responsibilities<ul><li>Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, capturing ophthalmic findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans with accuracy and efficiency</li><li>Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring all patient information is complete, accurate, and up-to-date in compliance with HIPAA regulations</li><li>Assist ophthalmologists by preparing documentation for patient visits, including history of present illness, ocular assessments, and procedural notes</li><li>Support the medical team by verifying patient information, updating records, and ensuring proper organization of medical documentation</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in medical transcription and medical documentation processes</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology related to ophthalmology and anatomy enhances accuracy in documentation</li><li>Experience working with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management tools is essential</li><li>Familiarity with clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA compliance standards is required</li><li>Strong typing skills with attention to detail to ensure precise recordkeeping</li></ul>Join us as an Ophthalmic Scribe and become an integral part of delivering outstanding eye care through meticulous documentation, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to patient privacy.
