Knowledge of library practices and procedures.</li><li>

REPORTS TO:</b> Principal/Supervisor</div><div><b>
JOB GOAL:</b> This position coordinates the operation of an elementary school library. The</div><div>
position independently supervises K-5 students in the library during teacher</div><div>
planning time.</div><div><b>
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></div><ul><li><b>
Professional Learning Community (PLC) Collaboration</b></li></ul><div>
Serve as an active and responsive member of content-area and department Professional</div><div>
Learning Communities (PLCs), collaborating to analyze student data, refine instructional</div><div>
practices, and improve student outcomes.</div><ul><li><b>
Standards-Based Instruction &amp; Curriculum Alignment</b></li></ul><div>
Design and deliver standards-based lessons aligned to Arizona State Standards, including</div><div>
development and implementation of Scope &amp; Sequence documents and Curriculum Maps</div><div>
to ensure instructional coherence and rigor.</div><ul><li><b>
Teacher Clarity &amp; Purposeful Instruction</b></li></ul><div>
Demonstrate Teacher Clarity by providing explicit learning intentions, success criteria,</div><div>
and purposeful instruction, so students understand what they are learning, why it matters,</div><div>
and how to demonstrate mastery.</div><ul><li><b>
Differentiated Instruction for Diverse Learners</b></li></ul><div>
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, linguistic, and social-emotional</div><div>
needs of all student populations, including advanced learners, students with disabilities,</div><div>
and English language learners.</div><ul><li><b>
Effective Communication &amp; Partnership</b></li></ul><div>
Communicate effectively and professionally with families, students, and colleagues</div><div>
