This job has potential for prevailing wage.Duties<ul><li>Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation equipment.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.</li><li>Perform refrigeration repairs involving ammonia refrigeration systems and refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems and property maintenance tasks to support system integrity.</li><li>Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and welding equipment for component repairs or fabrication.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.</li><li>Drive company vehicles safely while transporting tools or parts to various job sites as needed.</li><li>Repair appliances and mechanical components using appropriate techniques; ensure compliance with safety standards during all field service activities.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed and parts used.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with hands-on work in construction or residential environments.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation fans, and refrigeration systems.</li><li>Skilled in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans for precise troubleshooting and installation.</li><li>Experience with plumbing systems related to HVAC setups.</li><li>Field service experience involving the installation or maintenance of HVAC/R equipment in commercial or residential settings.</li><li>Ability to operate specialized tools such as diagnostic instruments safely and effectively.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record is a must.</li><li>Mechanical experience with boilers or other large mechanical systems; and familiarity with refrigerant handling regulations.</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about maintaining high standards of mechanical excellence while safely delivering outstanding service!
