Our law firm is looking for the awesome paralegal who has empathy, understanding, and works extremely well with others. Helping people through traumatic incidences is a difficult feat. Having a passion for helping others is essential in being successful in this position. A paralegal should drive the attorney, push cases, and prepare documents when tasked. Must have experience handling cases in the personal injury field.<ul><li>Drafting legal documents such as complaint, summons, motions, briefs, or subpoenas</li><li>Conducting research on relevant laws and case law to support the arguments made in court</li><li>Preparing case files for trial by collecting evidence such as documents, recordings, photographs, and other materials that support claims made in a lawsuit</li><li>Reviewing contracts and other legal documents to ensure they comply with legal guidelines and standards</li><li>Communicating with clients about their cases, including scheduling meetings to discuss case progress and updating clients about relevant developments in their cases</li><li>Drafting pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other court filings</li><li>Conducting interviews with witnesses and experts to gather information relevant to case proceedings</li><li>Assisting attorneys with discovery proceedings such as locating witnesses and organizing evidence</li><li>Reviewing discovery materials received from opposing parties or counsel in order to identify any issues with the evidence provided</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
