This position is located at our newly acquired Luken Memorials store in Yankton, SD. Yankton sits along the Missouri River and blends historic character, waterfront recreation, and Midwestern hospitality! Yankton is home to wonderful attractions such as the Lewis &amp; Clark Recreation Area, the Dakota Territorial Museum &amp; Mead Museum, the Meridian Bridge, and Yankton Riverboat Days! Position Description: As the Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for assisting the store team to successfully operate a memorial store. The ideal candidate is a compassionate team player with exceptional customer service and organizational skills. If you fit this description, Apply Today! This position has a hourly wage range of $18 - $23 based on experience. This position will remain posted until filled with resume review ongoing. Essential Functions Client Care &amp; Showroom Support: provide a welcoming, service-driven experience by assisting showroom visitors, managing phone and email inquiries, and ensuring the showroom, offices, and building are clean, organized, and well maintained Community Outreach &amp; Memorial Sales Support: generate and nurture prospects through letters, leads, and community events while supporting the Memorial Consultant in guiding families through memorial selection, design, and purchase Cemetery Relations &amp; Scheduling Support: Coordinate memorial order fulfillment by managing relationships with cemetery sextons, caretakers, and lettering teams, including scheduling memorial settings with all parties and occasional travel to cemeteries as needed Customer Records &amp; Social Media Support: maintain accurate customer and cemetery records in NetSuite while assisting with the management and upkeep of social media accounts Professional Development &amp; Company Culture: travel to St. Cloud for required training and annual sales meetings while consistently upholding and demonstrating company values Top Benefits or Perks: As a team member at Sunburst Memorials, you&rsquo;ll enjoy: A path to ownership in the company through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision and dental insurance and a Health Savings Account (HSA) option with a generous company contribution Employer paid short-term and long-term disability coverage Paid holidays and paid time off A collaborative environment where we believe that laughter and fun bond us together Required Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver&rsquo;s license with clean driving record Preferred Experience: 1-3 years customer service An understanding of funeral home, granite or retail store operations Pre-Employment Requirements Pre-employment physical and drug screen prior to hire Completion of technology testing and background check Ability to travel to St. Cloud, MN for training and annual sales meetings We are an equal opportunity employer.
