 A prominent, multi-practice law firm is seeking a Healthcare Litigation Attorney to manage a dynamic caseload centered on complex disputes within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with matters involving Medicare/Medicaid regulations, fraud and abuse issues, professional liability, medical malpractice, unjust enrichment, and other sophisticated healthcare-related claims. This role operates within the firm&rsquo;s Commercial &amp; Complex Litigation practice.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Work Arrangement
 
 
 
 This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring consistent on-site presence each week. During the initial integration period, more frequent in-office attendance will be expected.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Core Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Handle cases from pre-suit assessment through final resolution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, negotiations, and trial preparation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct and defend fact and expert depositions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent clients in court, arbitration forums, and administrative proceedings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement case strategies across a diverse litigation portfolio.
 </li>
 <li>
 Offer guidance to team members and contribute to improved processes and best practices.
 </li>

 Candidate Profile
 
 
 
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Active New Jersey Bar license in good standing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 7+ years of litigation experience, including substantial deposition practice.
 </li>
 <li>
 Documented first- or second-chair trial or arbitration experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Direct background in healthcare litigation and/or employment-related litigation.
 </li>
 <li>
 New York Bar admission, or a willingness to pursue admission, is advantageous.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong written advocacy, analytical skills, and strategic decision-making ability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven initiative, independence, and ability to collaborate across teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional demeanor, sound judgment, and leadership qualities.
 </li>
