THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION: Mon-Weds full days (7:45am-4:45/5:00pm), potential for growth and occasional ThursdaysWe are a busy, patient-centered dental practice looking for a front office/billing coordinator. Your goal is to help keep our office running smoothly.What You'll Do<ul><li>Front Desk Operations: Warmly greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, answer phones, and optimize the daily schedule to reduce open chair time.</li><li>Prior Authorizations: Prepare, submit, and track pre-treatment estimates and prior authorizations to ensure smooth clinical care.</li><li>Claims Management: Aggressively follow up on aging AR, research denied or delayed claims, and submit necessary appeals with proper documentation.</li><li>Billing &amp; Payments: Post daily insurance and patient payments, audit account ledger balances, and handle billing inquiries with empathy. Sending off insurance claims with the proper imaging and narratives.</li><li>Treatment Estimates: Break down complex insurance benefits to present accurate out-of-pocket costs and payment plans to patients.</li></ul>Prefer someone with experience:<ul><li>Baseline Preference: Minimum 1 year of dental office experience is highly preferred to ensure familiarity with dental terminology and workflows.</li><li>Willing to Train: We are fully willing to train the right candidate who possesses a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a baseline understanding of administrative tasks.</li><li>Training Provided: Comprehensive onboarding and hands-on training will be provided to bridge any knowledge gaps regarding our specific practice management software and office protocols.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience</li><li>Paid time off and paid holidays</li><li>Retirement plan options</li><li>Supportive and collaborative work environment</li><li>No evenings or weekends</li></ul>Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
